ABOUT

WSW: at a glance

We are inviting you to participate in praying for three areas:

  • Students in local CFs
  • Ex-Students in small towns
  • Students in other Countries (Japan)

You'll notice that these areas are all connected to the Christian student movement, even though they may be far away geographically (Japan), or age-wise (some of the ex-students are married with kids) from many of us.

We've narrowed our focus for WSW somewhat this year. For example, instead of praying for an entire region, we're focusing on one country this year. Instead of multiple CFs, now we're only praying for one. Instead of a whole town, we're praying for one person in that town. The reasons for this are listed under the History and individual Prayer Focus sections.

Our theme, though, remains the same:

"ENLARGING OUR WORLD, LIVING OUT OUR MISSION."

"Enlarging our World..."
...means that we begin to see the bigger picture. It's something that happens as we pray for others. We see how we belong to God's larger family and we identify with people outside of our own campuses. You may be amused by the similarities you share! Some will find encouragement to know that others too are labouring under the same conditions.

"Living out our Mission..."
All of us have a mission, all of us are missionaries. We are called to the places where God has placed us. As part of this theme, besides local and international students, we pray for ex-students who are now living out God's mission in small towns around Malaysia.

LET'S PRAY...
