STUDENTS IN LOCAL CFs
Yup, for many of you reading this, it's YOU!
  
Mention "CF" and most of you would think of the ones you know of in Malaysia. This is where the testimonies and prayer items are close-to-home and we identify and encourage as we pray for fellow CFs in local campuses. Some common themes we share are:
EVANGELISM
"That God will send at least one student into CF from all the courses available, and these "special ones" will be willing to bring their friends over as well..."
"We decided as a committee that we wanted to do something different by adopting a non-Christian
orphanage. It was our intention to demonstrate God’s love in a place where we
couldn’t openly preach Christ..."
FELLOWSHIP OVER THE WORD
"Setiap jumaat mempunyai satu perjumpaan kepada ahli-ahli CF untuk menambah pengetahuan kitab suci..."
"We may laugh and joke a lot about the silliest things but in the midst of the laughter, someone says something meaningful or gives us a new perspective to God’s Word and I am challenged and at the same time encouraged in my walk with God..."
PASSING THE BATON
"Young exco. CF committee: new committee members have just joined. Pray
that they will be able to adapt themselves to their roles and pray that the whole committee will be passionate in what they do..."
"New Students (Jan Intake) that they will be able to adapt into college life. Pray that CF will be their home away from home..."
REPENTANCE
"It started from the few of us, repentful and our hearts broken by how stagnant our spiritual lives have been, how we have been trying to fit God into our plans for CF and not fitting into His plans for CF. We started praying together regularly, starting with repentance towards how we’ve strayed away from Him. We asked God to bring about a change in our CF and in our campus starting from changing our hearts first and foremost..."
This year, if you're hosting a WSW celebration in CF, you will only be receiving prayer items for ONE other CF. This is because we hope to let you see each other as real people. We'll try our best to put you in touch with each other so that besides praying for the prayer requests you've submitted, maybe you could keep in touch and continue in prayer with fresh updates from each other.
