STUDENTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES: JAPAN

How many of you have some exposure to Japanese culture? Whether it's knowing a few Japanese phrases, watching anime or swooning over an actor or actress, we're sure you have some form of introduction to Japan! Yet, with only a small Christian minority, we rarely hear much of Christianity in Japan, what more the Christian student population.

Undeterred, the Christian students in Japan, who are part of KGK (Kirisutosha Gakusei Kai, meaning the Christian students fellowship) have taken up the challenge to host the tri-annual East Asia Regional Conference from 4-9 August in Tokyo.

Their theme is "X-tension: Let us start Rebuilding", taken from Nehemiah 2:18. We need to pray with them, and the participants, as they countdown towards the event.

Check out the EARC website to find out more about EARC, KGK and read their blog for the latest updates and prayer requests. Join us on the road to EARC!
