The Chronicles of God and His Kingdom
Knowing the Person of God as revealed in the Old and New Testaments. Discovering Him thru His covenantal relationship with us. Realizing God’s underlying plan for salvation thru Jesus Christ. Learning from Jesus’ life the perfect example of a life lived in God’s way. Receiving from Him the mission entrusted to us today.
Word of Life
Is it really that difficult to read & understand God’s word? If God’s word is indeed treasure for life. we need to learn to read it correctly. A simple, yet eye-opening method will be taught to you at camp.
2. LIVING LIFE IN GOD’S WAYS
Redeeming Relationships
Experiencing restoration as we grow in relationship to God, to self & to others. Realizing how we have been shaped & seeking to discover the way forward in redeeming these relationships. In relating to a world that often seems “so big & complex”, we discover a God much bigger than our own world! We’ll spend time to look at these things to hear God’s call to us & discover how we may reach our world for Christ creatively & effectively.
3. OTHER INTERESTING HIGHLIGHTS
Learning Spiritual Discipline & Enjoying Leisure
Discover different ways of spending time alone with God; the meaning of silence & personal reflection. Are there any other ways of enjoying leisure besides chit-chatting, shopping, movies & computer games??? Put away pre-conceived ideas of what these things may be. Come away…discover new things! You may even learn old things in new ways.
‘Life in Thy Ways’ as a ‘Family’
You’re gonna meet all sorts of people! AND they’re gonna be part of your chalet family! Living together in such a way gives you lots of opportunities to fellowship & know others & yourself better. Hey, YOUR PRESENCE & INVOLVEMENT may just add that extra flavour & colour to the already interesting mix of people at camp!
The Big Family
Many things happen when we come together as ONE BIG camp family – praise & worship; fun; laughter & tears; cuts & mud; and whatever else God may have in store.
