Blessed is the one who reads it, hear it and take to heart
The originator of Revelation is God, who gave this to Jesus to show John through His angel what must soon take place. Asia was hard-pressed as Christians were persecuted for their faith and were invited to worship Lord Caesar. Refusing to do so will end up being boycotted in business, receiving personal insults and even some to the point of losing their lives. It was also at this time that there are immoral men and women who comes and contaminates the church. The letter was address to the 7 churches in Asia Minor.
Some TIPS on How to Read the Book of Revelation
Revelation can be read in 7 portions. As you read the different portions, the questions were to help you to note the main focus.

Reflection
LORD GOD ALMIGHTY
God who is, who was and who is to come. One who is the alpha and omega, beginning an end. Holy is He who sits on the throne. Our Lord God almighty is worthy to receive glory, honor and power for He created all things. Whenever I picture God sitting on His throne, I cannot but worship Him for salvation belongs to our God and He reigns.
WORTHY IS THE LAMB
If there were no one who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll, evil will continue. Only the lamb who had been tempted but did not succumbed but have conquered it is worthy. The lamb that was slain, who is also the Lion of Judah has triumphed. With His blood He purchased men for God. Indeed He is worthy and all creatures praise Him, honour Him, give Him the glory forever and ever.
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
Our King and our Lord who is all-knowing knows what we are going through because He has gone through it. He also knows our deeds and our hearts. He is coming back and that is His pledge of love to us that He will come through for us. How can I crown Him as king of my life already now and prepare to meet Him.
HE WHO HAS AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS
A call for us to hold fast to this truth and endure whatever comes. Perhaps is time to wake up, remember our King and repent from our wicked ways. Hold on to what is right and really hear and take it to heart. Be an over comer. Consider again how I live my life for I know that one day God’s wrath will be fully expressed. I can’t take sin lightly and I need to see the urgency of this revelation. The reality is that yet, many people still do not turn back. But there is always many who really take this to heart.
ULTIMATELY, GOD WILL TRIUMPH AND EVIL WILL BE DEFEATED
The greatest celebration awaits us is that we will be with our King forever.
We will see Him face to face.
